Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the rules for using the PostCare platform. PostCare is designed exclusively for sending aftercare follow-up messages to clients who have received treatments at your clinic. By using PostCare, you agree to comply with this policy.

2. Client Consent Requirements

Before enrolling any client in an aftercare messaging sequence, you must:

  • Obtain explicit, informed consent from the client to receive WhatsApp messages
  • Clearly explain what messages they will receive and how often
  • Inform clients they can opt out at any time by replying STOP
  • Keep records of client consent for compliance purposes

3. Prohibited Uses

The following uses of PostCare are strictly prohibited:

  • Sending unsolicited messages or spam to people who have not consented
  • Using aftercare sequences for promotional or marketing purposes unrelated to treatment follow-up
  • Sending threatening, abusive, or harassing content
  • Using the platform for any illegal purpose or to facilitate illegal activities
  • Sending misleading medical information or impersonating healthcare authorities
  • Sharing client data with unauthorized third parties through the messaging system

4. WhatsApp Business Policy Compliance

PostCare uses Twilio's WhatsApp Business API. All users must comply with:

  • Meta's WhatsApp Business Policy (https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/business-policy)
  • Meta's Commerce Policy (https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/commerce-policy)
  • Messages must be relevant to the aftercare context and the treatment performed
  • You must respond to client replies and concerns in a timely manner

5. Message Content Standards

All messages sent through PostCare must:

  • Be directly related to aftercare follow-up for treatments performed at your clinic
  • Not contain medical diagnoses — PostCare is a follow-up tool, not a medical advisory service
  • Include clear identification of your clinic as the sender

6. Enforcement

Violation of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in temporary suspension or permanent termination of your PostCare account. We reserve the right to investigate potential violations and take appropriate action, including reporting illegal activities to law enforcement authorities.
